We really like holidays! because we can spend more time together as a family. For President's Day we decided to visit an arboretum. An arboretum is basically a park that you can walk through that has LOTS of different kinds of plants. It was kind of cool outside, so we bundled up and headed out.
We saw lots of fun plants, but I think our favorite thing was chasing the ducks (sorry, we didn't take pictures). Hyrum and Kyler loved to run around and chase them. We wished we had brought bread to feed them, but chasing was pretty awesome.
Kyler loves to be outside. He loves to look around and see what is going on around him. He was enjoying the walk in his stroller, until we got him out to take a picture. He realized that he could see more in our arms and didn't want the stroller anymore. The rest of the time we took turns carrying him and having him ride in the stroller. He was a good sport.

High Chair
Hooray for high chairs! We were excited and grateful to receive it from some neighbors. Kyler tried it out for the first time. Since he doesn't eat food yet, we gave him toys to play with. Also, he is still a little small and can't quite hold himself up, so we put blankets around him. I think he enjoyed being about the same height as his parents.
Playing at the Park
We live near a park, and so the other day we took Kyler there. He loves being in the swing.
Hyrum was pushing Kyler up the slide a little ways and then letting Kyler slide back down to him. Kyler loved it (as you can tell by the happy face), and the more they did it, the more his hair stood on end (good old static electricity).

Upside Down
Kyler found a new position that he likes. Here he poses with Daddy while sucking on as many fingers at one time as he can. (By the way, the most fingers he has been able to suck on at one time is five--three from one hand and two from the other).
First Time Playing with a Stuffed Animal
Kyler was a little bit scared of this bear at first, but then he warmed up and enjoyed playing with him.

Rolling
Kyler is getting very interested in moving around and has hit another milestone. Just a couple of days ago, Kyler rolled over from his back to his front! We were very excited for him.
