We love spring!

 We are all enjoying the spring weather, especially Kyler.  The other day, Tasha took Kyler outside to play.  He was very happy and smiley, but then it was time to go inside and make dinner.  The minute we stepped inside the apartment Kyler was fussy and crying.  I tried to give him toys and keep him entertained, but he wanted none of it.  I decided to see if it was really outside that he wanted, so I picked him up and we stepped outside the front door.  My happy, smiley Kyler was instantly back.  So sad for him, we had to step back inside and make dinner.

Kyler is becoming a pro at sitting up.  He loves to sit up and play with his toys because he can see so much.  This picture is of the first time he sat in the grass without a blanket underneath him.  He didn't like it very much.  He prefers the blanket over the pokey grass.

Snow!

One morning, while at Grandma's house, we woke up to a little bit of snow on the ground.  We were very excited to show Kyler, so we bundled him up and went outside to play.

 "This is so much fun!"

"Uh, Dad, I can't see my shoes."

"Hey Mom, look at this cool stuff."

"I love being outside."

"I'm not ready to go inside!"

"I'm getting cold."

"This is me and my snowman."

Star Wars

Also, while on vacation, Kyler was introduced to Star Wars.  Hyrum recieved a Star Wars book for his birthday to read to Kyler.  Here is the first reading of the book.  Maybe Kyler will someday be a big fan.

Visiting Family

 During Sprink Break, we went on vacation and visited family.  Kyler was able to meet all of his cousins, as well as all his aunts and most of his uncles (one uncle is serving an LDS mission on the other side of the world so he was not there).  In the pictures above and below he is with his cousins.

Rice Cereal!!!

 At the beginning of March, we started feeding Kyler rice cereal.  Boy does he love it!

Kyler has been watching Hyrum and I eat for weeks now and he practices chewing while watching us do it.  About the second time we were feeding him rice cereal, he had some of it in his mouth when he decided to do the chewing motion.  Suddenly his eyes lite up like a light bulb went on inside.  It was like he was saying, "HEY! This chewing thing comes in handy!"  So cute!
